- Reddick Elementary
Families and Friends,
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Reddick Elementary! We are very excited that your family will be with us this year. We have many activities and events planned that will enable you to become a dynamic member of our Reddick community. A strong school is not only made of great teachers and staff, parents and community members play a big role. When we all work together our children see that the adults are on the same page and working as hard as we can make them successful students. In return, the children tend to work that much harder and enjoy learning.
As you are aware, this year will be very different then in the past. No matter which option of instruction you choose for your children, in person or eLearning, we are here to assist you any way we can with academic and social-emotional issues. As a school and as a school district we are here to support you as we navigate through these unprecedented times.
The first day of school is Monday, August 24, 2020. Teachers will begin calling families with important classroom information. Please be patient as we work through this new process.
Laptops and textbooks for elearning students only can be picked up on Wednesday, August 26th during the following times:
8:00 - 10:00
10:00 - 11:00
Student times are as follows:
- Monday 7:40 A.M. – 12:55 P.M. ( Early release day)
- Tuesday- Friday 7:40 A.M. – 1:55 P.M.
Students are allowed on campus beginning at 7:10 A.M. to get breakfast and report to their classroom. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON CAMPUS BEFORE 7:10 A.M AS THERE IS NO ADULT SUPERVISION UNTIL THAT TIME. Safety is always our top priority. With that in mind, it is important that everyone follows the safety rules and procedures that we have in place.
We have created some useful videos to help us start the year smoothly. Please view these videos with your child before they return to campus on August 31st.
Working together we can and will continue to create an amazing culture at Reddick Elementary. By focusing on the importance of both academics and personal growth as positive members of our school culture, we will prepare our youngsters for not only school, but for life as productive members of society. Together, we got this!
We Climb Together!
