Weekly Update from Mrs. Holt . . .

Good Afternoon Hunter’s Green Panthers,
This is Mrs. Holt with the weekly update for Friday, January 22.   I can’t believe that half of the school year is over.  It has flown by.  We had a wonderful week with a little over 100 of our eLearning students returning to brick and mortar.  I can’t wait until I have all of our students back.  We miss them all terribly.
I just want to remind everyone that the bell rings at 7:40. All students must be in their classrooms in their seats when the bell rings.  With many more cars dropping students off in the morning, please make sure to leave a few minutes earlier so students are not tardy.  When students are tardy, they are missing actual learning.
I also want to continue to remind everyone that if your child is sick, please make sure not to send them to school.  If you are waiting on a result of your child’s COVID test, please keep them at home until you receive their negative results.  We have been very fortunate that we’ve had such few COVID cases, but it’s because of the safety precautions we have in place and also our parents being cautious too.  Please keep in communication with your child’s teacher or the office about your child being ill.
Next week Hunter’s Green Elementary will be celebrating Literacy Week.  Please see the attachment on today’s email for a listing of all the events.  The PTA flyer is also attached with information on the Run New Tampa registration, uniform ordering information, fifth grade parent meeting, fifth grade dedications, Valentine grams, and our Souper Bowl Food Drive.
Thanks so much for all you do for our Panthers.  If there is anything I can do to be of assistance, please feel free to call.
