Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary was built in 1926 and opened its doors on September 12, 1927 as Tampa Bay Boulevard Grade School with a staff of six teachers. One of the teachers also served as principal. The school derived its name from its location. The schools colors are red, black and white. The mascot is the panther.
