Bob Martinez Middle School opened in Fall 2002 and is named after Governor Bob Martinez who was an educator in the Hillsborough County School System. He also served the city of Tampa as Mayor and the State of Florida as Governor. He was appointed Drug Czar for the United States under President George H. Bush. We are honored to have our school named after such a distinguished member of our community.
