Dr. Jeremy Klein

Dr. Jeremy D. Klein is a native of Tampa, Florida and is a product of Hillsborough County Public Schools, having graduated from Leto High School. After graduation, Dr. Klein attended the University of South Florida where he received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 2003 and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2010. Additionally, Dr. Klein also holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.

Dr. Klein held teaching positions at Robles Elementary, Monroe Middle School, and Robinson High School where he was Director of the Bands. In 2012, he was appointed as Assistant Principal for Student Affairs at Hillsborough High School, where he served for two years. In 2014, Dr. Klein was appointed as the Supervisor of Charter Schools and in 2015, he joined Jefferson High School as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum. In 2017, Dr. Klein transferred to Leto High School as part of the Turnaround Leadership Pathway Program as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum. He has also been a Master Trainer for Hillsborough County Public School, having taught classes on classroom management, curriculum, and teaching techniques. Additionally, he has been a guest lecturer at USF, Henderson State University, and New Mexico University.

Dr. Klein’s awards and honors include receiving the Tom Bishop Award from the Florida Band Association for his impact on the Band Program at Robinson High School, a Commendation from the Tampa City Council for his dedication and influence on his students, the 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year for Robinson High School, and the 2018 Hillsborough Counselors Association Administrator of the Year. Dr. Klein believes that as educators, we must exhaust all things to educate to the core of every student and to provide opportunities to help students prepare for their next chapter in life.

Mrs. Camilla Burton

Mrs. Camilla Burton is the Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Brandon High School. She began her K-12 public schools career in 1996 as a high school biology, math and ESOL teacher. Her tenure in Monroe County School District, Florida provided her leadership opportunities as an elementary school Assistant Principal and K-12 Science Supervisor. Mrs. Burton came to the area as a Pearson Education Inc. K-12 Science Consultant. She joined Hillsborough County Public Schools in 2015 as a biology teacher at East Bay High School. Mrs. Burton served as a science coach at Chamberlain High School. She was a Biomedical Magnet teacher and later the Assistant Principal of Magnet Curriculum at Middleton High School. Mrs. Burton has served in public school education for 23 years. Her greatest gift is being a mother. Her most precious joy is helping others. Mr. Ronald Buffano

Ron Buffano earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida before earning his Educational Leadership degree from Arkansas State University. He spent his first two years in education at Mann Middle School teaching Career and Business. He then taught at Lennard High School for the next five years teaching Business and coaching wrestling. In 2014, Mr. Buffano moved to Tampa Bay Tech to work in the Student Affairs Office, and in 2018 he became the Assistant Principal of Administration for Brandon High School.

Mr. Ronald Thompson

Mr. Thompson was raised in Miami, FL where he attended Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School.  After high school he enrolled at the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English and then went on to Florida A&M University to earn a Masters in Secondary Education.  He has taught in Leon, Palm Beach, Pinellas  and Hillsborough County.  His certification is in English and Education Leadership.  When not at school, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, or engaging in his favorite activity of fishing with his son.

Mrs. Shannon Jackson

Shannon Jackson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in English Education from the University of South Florida before earning her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She taught in Charleston, SC and Polk County, FL before joining Hillsborough County Schools.  She was a teacher, department leader, and literacy coach at Tampa Bay Technical High School and joined the administrative team at Brandon High School in 2018.
